Our report has been published in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017 and details SSP’s gender pay gap figures for staff on the snapshot date of 05 April 2018. It remains the case that we have a 19% pay gap, primarily due to that fact that we still have a greater number of men than women in senior roles. However, I am pleased that we have reduced the gap in other areas, such as the median pay gap which has reduced from 20% to 18%. The UK’s current gender pay gap stands at 18%.
