Jonathan Halford
Jonathan originally qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers before undertaking a number of senior Board positions within the multi-national engineering group, Morgan Crucible plc. Over the last 15 years Jonathan has worked as a Chairman for a number of private equity backed companies where he has forged a reputation as one of the most respected professionals in the business growth and transformation community. His experience has been gained across many sectors including retail, fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing, packaging, distribution and wholesaling.

Stephen Lathrope
Steve joined SSP in 2011 as Managing Director of the Insurer Division, with responsibility for more than 120 insurance company and MGA customers worldwide. Ahead of his appointment to the role of CEO, he was promoted to Chief Customer Officer and then latterly Group Managing Director. Before joining SSP, Steve spent 19 years with Accenture as a partner in the global Insurance practice, consulting with a wide range of insurance companies in the UK and globally and advising on business and technology change.

Chris Pennington
Chris joined SSP in 2009 and held a number of senior finance positions prior to his appointment as CFO in May 2018. Before joining SSP, Chris spent 12 years with PwC, latterly as a Director in the Corporate Finance practice. Chris is a Chartered Accountant.

Adrian Brown
Adrian joined SSP in June 2019 and has more than 30 years’ experience in senior roles in leading underwriting and distribution businesses, including Group COO of Ardonagh Group, UK CEO of RSA and Managing Director of MORE THAN.

Dale Alderson
Dale joined LDC in 2012 following 10 years + in professional services at both Deloitte and E&Y. Dale has strong experience in both originating and executing transactions including management buyouts, corporate sales and acquisitions, and turnaround refinancings across a range of sectors and investment sizes. He has also provided strategic advice relating to long-term growth plans, acquisition strategy and stakeholder management to a number of large corporate clients in the region.
Dale’s recent investments include SSP, Adler and Allan, Express Engineering and NRS. He is also involved a member of the Board at Zenith Leasedrive.

Andrew Davison
Andrew is a Partner at SEP, a deputy head of SEP’s investment team and also sits as deputy chairman of SEP’s investment committee. He joined the firm in 2002 from 3i plc’s technology team.
Andrew has extensive investment experience and a strong track record of supporting businesses through growth and international expansion. He currently sits on the board of luxury clothing and accessories retailer matchesfashion.com, cloud-based document collaboration company Workshare and intelligent IT analytic services business Sumerian. Andrew was heavily involved in SEP’s funding of Pure 360, the UK based e-mail marketing business, and of online car finance specialist Car Loan 4U.
