SSP is committed to ensuring that all members of staff are treated and rewarded fairly, irrespective of their gender, or any other characteristic. We already ensure that we offer equal pay for work of equal value, so that we do not discriminate unlawfully against any member of the SSP team.
Our report has been published in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017 and details SSP’s gender pay gap figures for staff on the snapshot date of 05 April 2020. This shows there has been a slight increase to our pay gap of 23%, up from 22% the previous year. Fortunately, having looked at the figures required for next year’s report we are pleased to say we are seeing a decrease in that gap and hope that some of the foundations we have put in place are starting to have an impact. The UK’s current gender pay gap stands at 15.5%.
