Colin brings over 20 years’ experience in the finance and insurance industry, performing a variety of leadership roles that include Chief Commercial Officer at A-Plan Insurance, Product and Commercial Director at Comparethemarket and CEO at Santander Insurance and Age UK Enterprises. Colin brings customer-focused leadership to the business, drawing on his wealth of knowledge and experience with insurance partnerships, product management, sales and distribution, to ensure SSP support our customers to develop and grow their businesses.
Chris joined SSP in 2009 and held a number of senior finance positions prior to his appointment as CFO in May 2018. Before joining SSP, Chris spent 12 years with PwC, latterly as a Director in the Corporate Finance practice. Chris is a Chartered Accountant.
Kevin brings over 30 years’ experience in IT to SSP, who he joined in 2017 initially as Director of Managed Services and then becoming our Chief Technology Officer in 2021. Before joining SSP, Kevin worked for a number of companies, including CSC, Xchanging and Lloyds Bank, mainly in senior leadership roles with a technology bias, that have included Managing Director, Operations Director, and Architecture.
With over 25 years’ experience in HR, Jemma joined SSP in March 2017 and is responsible for global human resources. Jemma previously worked for the Royal Institution for Chartered Surveyors as Head of HR for six years, where she was key in leading change to support the organisation in becoming one of the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For. In her early career, Jemma worked with Domestic & General Insurance to set up a 24/7 contact centre service for its Domestic Appliance insurance product and spent 10 years with TUI Travel (Lunn Poly, Thomson Holidays, First Choice), leading the HR support for its retail outlets and contact centres.
Stuart joined SSP in 2016 as a procurement consultant and joined the executive team shortly after as Group Commercial and Procurement Director with wide ranging responsibilities that also cover risk and compliance, data security and legal functions. Stuart has held senior commercial positions at a number of high street names including The Booker Group, Dixons Carphone and The Kingfisher Group and uses his commercial acumen to help SSP achieve sustainable growth.
Zoe joined SSP in 2007 and has held several senior positions across our programmes and products before becoming Customer Experience Director in 2021, bringing unrivaled knowledge about our products and propositions to this key senior leadership role. Before SSP, she held consultancy roles at CSC, and brings over 25 year’s of Insurance and technology experience to our senior management team.
Andrew joined SSP in 2014, initially as a programme manager, before moving to head up our professional services function. In 2021, he became part of the executive management team in his role as Director of Professional Services. Before SSP, Andrew spent nearly 18 years at Legal & General in a variety of IT and change management roles, and he brings over 20 years’ experience in delivering large scale projects and programmes.
Steve joined SSP in 2011, initially as the head of professional services for one of our products, then as the head of our specialist business unit. With more than 35 years’ professional services experience working in the IT services sector, for the most part serving the financial services industry, Steve was made Director of Intermediary Delivery Services in 2021 and now brings his considerable experience to our leadership team, strategically managing and developing some of our biggest customers and most important projects.
